If it’s your first time in Paris, you’ll be amazed by the sheer number of shops and flea markets you can visit for shopping.

To help make your trip less overwhelming, I’ve collected a list of five fabulous high-end and budget-friendly shops you must visit.

Luxury Shopping in Paris

First, let’s get into a list of the five top luxury fashion houses everyone must visit during their time in Paris. Even if you’re a budget-conscious traveler, these locations are must-sees for their window shopping alone. You’ll love the quintessential narrow streets and cross streets, ideal for art lovers with brilliantly gilded lettering for high-end designers.

1. Hermès

Hermès is one of the most notable brands in the fashion scene known for its brilliant orange insignia, collection of phenomenal purses, and other accessories. That said, they are one of the incredible concept stores best reserved for the most affluent shoppers. In Paris, the Hermès flagship store in the Golden Triangle was developed in 2018.

Today, you’ll find over three levels of shopping featuring over 5900 square feet of fantastic fashion trends on display. Along with their collection of couture accessories, shoppers will fall in love with the luxurious design of the flagship store. With gilded embellishments paired with wood-paneled walls, it’s the perfect blend of styling you’d find in high-end stores.

2. Louis Vuitton Maison Champs-Elysées

Louis Vuitton lovers will surely be missing out if they don’t make the trip to Louis Vuitton Maison Champs-Elysées. It’s also one of the most architecturally stunning trendy boutiques along the Champs-Elysées. Its phenomenal art deco styling is sure to be jaw-dropping, even from the outside alone.

Inside are five levels of phenomenal shopping opportunities for curious fashionistas, with antique furniture lining the walls. You’ll find handbags, leather goods, jewelry, art books, and homewares to bring a piece of Louis Vuitton home.

3. Officine Universelle Buly

Personal hygiene and maintenance are essential to looking your best in designer clothes. Officine Universelle Buly is one of the top-rated luxury retailers for fashion lovers in Paris, specializing in innovative, natural beauty products. Shoppers will be able to discover nouveau botanical creams, essential oils, and invigorating perfumes.

You’ll also be able to get your hands on one-of-a-kind artisan pieces, such as hand-carved combs, acetate toothbrushes, and more. Whether you’re shopping on a budget or not, Officine Universelle Buly is a notable shopping destination to see up-and-coming inventions in the beauty world.

In total, there are over 700 products related to grooming and beauty that you can set your sights on.

You’ll love their collection of independent fashion designers specializing in natural beauty. Also, the store’s aesthetic boasts an art scene, offering unforgettable 19th century fixtures. It’s one of the individual stores you must visit during your time in the city.

4. Le Bon Marché

If you’re a history buff looking to build a wardrobe filled with fabulous pieces, Le Bon Marché is a must-visit. It’s one of the oldest grands magasins worldwide, where shopping was basically invented. With that said, it’s now filled with modern fashion-friendly brands rather than trendy 1850s pieces.

The department store has a very open and airy layout, accommodating large crowds throughout the day. It’s also home to some of the most luxurious brands worldwide. You’ll find an assortment of skin care products, chic fashion boutiques, chocolate shops, and more in a reasonable price spectrum.

After a day of shopping, you can stop off at Le Bon Marché’s food emporium to see gourmet food purveyors at the booming restaurant. You’ll also find plenty of food markets in the surrounding area, giving you the energy needed to explore up-and-coming designers.

5. The Golden Triangle (Triangle D’Or)

The fifth and most famous shopping street you need to visit to answer all of your high-end fashion dreams is The Golden Triangle. It’s the most exciting part of the 8th arrondissement and is often seen as the hub for everything haute couture, including antique shops.

Located in between avenue George V, avenue des Champs-Elysées, and avenue Montaigne, you’ll find exclusive shops ranging from Balenciaga to Yves Saint Laurent and everything in between.

Not only is it a phenomenal shopping spot for exclusive brands and French clothing, but it’s also fun for people-watching and window shopping. If you want some sure-fire fashion inspo, The Golden Triangle’s famous avenue should surely be on your list of must-visit shopping spots in Paris.

"Often, when I go out with the intention of buying new clothes, I end up wandering around for hours and not finding anything I really love. Because my time in Paris was limited, I wanted to make the best use of what little opportunity I had for shopping. Enter Linda, who-in just 3 hours-helped me select a range of gorgeous new clothes and accessories, I love absolutely everything I bought. My time with her was an absolute joy: she is very relaxed and easy to chat with, and she really listens to your opinions and steers you towards the things you will like. If only all shopping was this easy!"

"This was my first personal shopping experience on a trip to Paris so I wasn't sure what to expect, but was soon pul al case by the warm and friendly Linda... After wearing one of my new outfits back in London. several people have commented that I had a 'French chic look going on! It was the look I'd asked Linda for, so it seems to be working! Highly recommended - and I'll definitely be back for more!"

"We had such a productive two hours with Linda! My daughter is very petite for her age (14 years old, almost 5'2" and 90 lbs). It is hard for her to find clothes in styles popular in her age group and I was worried that our Paris shopping would be frustrating. I am so glad we booked Linda! We sent her some samples of styles my daughter liked as well as the types of items we were interested in purchasing. Linda mapped out stores and actual items in advance. And she was good at identifying potential options on the fly too. In two hours we got a dress, two pairs of jeans, some slides and two tops that my daughter loves! In every store Linda would quickly ask the salespeople for the smallest sizes and then my daughter would quickly make a call on what she wanted to try. Very efficient! Linda comes from a family in the fashion business and earlier in the day had helped a bride from the U.S. select her couture wedding gown. She is versatile for sure! Thank you Linda for this great highlight of our trip to Paris!"

Amazing Personal Shopping Experience in Paris

"My 13 year old daughter and I had a wonderful morning with Linda. We walked around the Marais area and Linda introduced us to many shops and boutiques. Linda quickly understood what my daughter style is and what she prefers and offered her different and unique items at every store. My daughter is typically not an easy shopper :) but Linda was able to find her multiple beautiful items that she loved and we purchased (all within the budget we pre-defined before starting). We even got one item for me (although this was not our focus this time ...). Linda also helped us to quickly receive the tax refund forms at the different stores we visited. Overall it was an amazing experience which my daughter really enjoyed and marked as one of the highlights of our Paris visit."

"Linda took my daughter and I and another friend and her daughter shopping and it was just perfect. She chose ideal spots for the teenagers and great spots for myself and my friend (we are in our early 50s). She's kind, patient, and thoughtful and really tries to make sure everyone finds what they need/ I also loved that she wasn't pushy with us buying things. She made me feel very comfortable to say you know this is not right for me. I love the shoes I got on our trip and the jeans and my daughter had the best time. This is a really special experience. My only suggestion would be that if you are shopping for teens and grownups to try to add more time because 2 hours was not enough for us! It's a great experience -- hope you enjoy it too!"
