Printemps du Carrousel

Mecca of Parisian luxury, Le Printemps has opened a shop in the splendid gallery of the Carrousel du Louvre.

For the first time in 32 years, Printemps is opening a new temple dedicated to luxury, in a prime international cultural location: the carrousel du Louvre.


Over and above its grandiose location and monumental appearance, all the values inherent in Printemp’s DNA are embodied in this new union : History, Heritage, Creativity and Elegance.
Covering a surface area of 2600 m², Printemps du Louvre brings together the finest luxury and beauty brands, epitomising know-how in leather goods, fine watchmaking, fine jewellery and fragrances.
THE STORE’S ARCHITECTURE The interior of the store reflects the architecture of the Carrousel du Louvre and the museum itself, as the floor and walls are made with the same construction material: burgundy stone. The strong visual experience starts with the white-painted ceiling, with a wavy polished steel surface that reflects the image and movement of visitors in a perspective seen throughout its whole length.
To maintain the unity of the interior architecture, all the shop façades are organised by Printemps, with opening and closing features defined by the architects of the Citterio and Partners agency: Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, who have also designed a large part of the shops’ furniture and central presentation areas.

LUXURY LEATHER GOODS AREA Luxury Leather Goods come to life with the presence of major international luxury brands such as Bottega Venetta, Givenchy, Prada, Coach, Burberry, Longchamp and MCM.
PRINTEMPS LUXURY Specific to the department store, Printemps Luxury is located at the entrance and presents the complete collection of it-bags of the moment from the most sought-after brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Stella McCartney, Chloé and Saint Laurent Paris.
CREATIVE LEATHER GOODS AREA Here you can find trendy Parisian brands such as Vanessa Bruno, Jérôme Dreyfuss and Zadig & Voltaire, as well as three areas dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld, Armani and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
BEAUTY AREA Beauty unfolds in the nine boutiques of the finest French and international fragrance and cosmetics houses: Crème de la Mer, Dior, Chanel, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Estée Lauder, Sisley, Clarins and Roger & Gallet.
WATCH AND JEWELLERY AREA The first floor mezzanine hosts the greatest specialist brands located in spacious boutiques, including Chopard, Omega, Rolex and Montblanc. The enticing concessions of the brands Girard-Perregaux, Hermès, Tag Heuer, Longines, Tissot and Tudor add pace to the wall area.
SOUVENIRS AREA This space is dedicated to souvenir items: Printemps Louvre fashion and design accessories.
