First we brought you the news of the Pop-up Louis Vuitton
store in Courchevel this ski season 13/14,
but we have heard that Chanel is opening
their own Pop-up concept store there as well!
Not only is Chanel bringing their signature French chic to
the slopes of Courchevel,
they are also taking it one step further and reaching new peaks,
with cable cars bering Chanel’s creative director
Karl Lagerfeld’s own sketches.
Chanel has set up shop in one of the most exclusive ski stations in the Alps,
in a 200m² space inspired by traditional Alpine chalets custom-designed
exclusively for its Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Cruise collection,
along with all the skis, snowboards and winter accessories
you could possibly need to get down the slopes with style.
Karl Lagerfeld has given a series of his own sketches
to be replicated onto the side of the cable cars of the Jardin Alpin,
including images of Coco Chanel,
polar bears and designs from his collections.
It looks like it is going to be a battle of the brands
this hiver in the Alps with concept stores from both Louis Vuitton
