In light of the success of their pop-up store during Cannes’ Film Festival in 2011,
Louis Vuitton are waxing down their skis and heading to Courchevel
for the coming ski-season 2013/14.
Despite the presence of their permanent store, which opened in 2006,
Louis Vuitton will open the doors to their new pop-up shop on 13th December,
quoting that ‘the new space is said to draw inspiration from
traditional regional chalets to showcase a special selection of purses,
bags and small leather goods including Louis Vuitton’s new Capucines bag
which will be available in a range of pastel hues’.
As well as Louis Vuitton’s leather collection, a selection of jewellery, timepieces,
and cold-weather clothes and accessories including scarves,
raccoon fur hats, mink collars and fox fur bags will also be on sale
to complete their luxury selection.
It looks like après-ski will never have been so stylish!
Louis Vuitton’s Courchevel pop-up store on Rue du Rocher,
Courchevel will be open from December 13 through April 6
from 10 am to 8 pm.
